What is the future of choreography?
Korean National Contemporary Dance Company (KNCDC) invited choreographers, dancers, visual artists, technicians, curators to discuss about the integration of technology and choreography as a part of lab program. A lot of questions and novel ideas were derived from the collective research which were accompanied with the diverse workshops regarding to the relationship among our bodies, emerging technologies and liveness.
Among the flush of technological development, where are we heading to? What will happen if choreography encounter technology? Does choreography share the similarities with game industry? What is choreography? What does the movements of bodies address now?
At the end of lab program, the whole contents of collective research was presented in format of lecture performance. Jihyun Hong participated in the whole process of research and took a role of directing the video.
